you know, part of being a good promoter would be damage control, rather than spreading fires.

To me it seems that this 'tour' which they started a few years ago and 'will keep going, there's no end in sight' (loose quote) are latching on to whatever they can get. What marty said I believe is true, that keoki could probably do a better venue with a better promoter. but unfortunately i'm to believe even he's stuck in this nostalgia tour without a way of getting out of it himself.

i really don't know who watches party monster and goes YES FUCK I WANT TO BE EXACTLY LIKE THIS AND RELIVE IT.

please...we aren't trying to relive the movie, merely pointing out where the roots of the regurgitated, currently stagnant vancouver scene is based loosely upon...frankly, i had forgotten all about party monster until i saw how so many in vancouver have stolen from Mr. Alig and represent his ideas to younger generations as their own...so we'll celebrate a classic movie...as others do with so many other movies..chill out!! every time you watch a film you have seen before, it doesn't mean you are going to adapt each aspect of said film to your own reality, or maybe you will...i don't know, but i can speak for myself and say that i am not that easily influenced..
