Yes dear, because ALL of YOUR posts are just BURSTING with intelligence. You have to expect the majority of what is posted on such boards as this, aren't filled with good points, no matter who, or where you are on the interweb.
Just because I don't always take the time to post what I really think, doesn't mean I don't have good points and ideas. Last edited by dapimpstress; Jun 09, 05 at 01:08 PM. |

I.E.>> war ( P ) Pronunciation Key (wôr) n. 1. To be in a state of hostility or rivalry; contend. Well we are def in a state of hostility. So that's an easy one. Potentially we have another 7 years of this bullshit, bush-shit. You can't tell me that if it was YOUR government, you wouldn't THINK about leaving at the very least. You can't tell me that you would not "run away" --as you have deemed it-- to a place that would make your quality of life, (as in happiness, not necessarily financially) better. |

comes down to a question of character
especially with the vote so close it's definately possible to make change happen great things have been done with less support not even mentioning roughly half the voting people in the country |

At any rate, in response. You are a very different person than me. However, I suppose it is a very different situation when it's your life at stake, vs. a hypothetical situation. ps- We own 70% of you. I.E. Our downfall will lead to yours. Just a thought. |

our economies are so tightly associated that either way there would be a large hit. you need canada as much as we need you, and we have been diversafying to china and the eu so we are becoming less and less dependant on you as a trade partner. unfortuantely, raw materials, electric power, a large majority of your fresh water, as well as all of your funny comedians come from canada. it's a symbiotic agreement, but things like softwood tariffs and border restrictions is helping us migrate to new things. saying 'we own 70% of you' is kind of bullshit, 70% of what and by what measure? |

Just because I sit here, posting hella, doesn't mean I'm not doing other things. Like writing letters to my Congress everytime I can saying how this or that bill should or shouldn't be passed. Like going to weekly meetings to promote awareness of the serious situation our economy is currently in. And frankly, my life has not changed at this moment THAT much, I'm not going to say not at all because that would be untrue, I am more worried about the upcoming changes that are in the process of happening. I don't want to be STUCK here. That is the bottom line reason for wanting to leave now, or soon. I don't want the borders to get closed and not be able to leave if I was so inclined. I would rather leave now than be trapped in the jail of a sickly country. |
