My guy gets his brows threaded and they look awesome. They just clean them up, y'know, get rid of the centre hairs and strays...they still look manly, and they don't look like they've been done! |

As far as make up tips go... I usually just go with some eyeliner and some black mascara, it's usually all I need to feel a little dolled up. It works well and it doesn't make my eyes smaller, I have fairly large eyes to begin with. When I go out and have a good time though, I usually go for the smokey eye. As for blackheads and pimples, washing your face regularly helps prevent, and that whole crap about eating chocolate, is a myth, it's no different than eating any other food, if you are prone to pimples, you will get them. |

I don't think that because a woman wears makeup, it makes her less pretty, or hides her beauty. I wear a very natural look during the day, just to bring out my eyes and make sure I don't have half a brow when I walk into to work.
The smokey eye is by far the most classic and sexy make up look there is. This thread was started because there are so many girls out there wearing baby blue and doing eyeliner wings*shudders*. You can wear a pound of make up and still look natural. I agree with the part about being prone to acne. But there are things that cause break outs, like touching your face with dirty hands, or changing a product, getting a sunburn(causes a breakout a few weeks later). There are things you can do to prevent breakouts. And for the record, you really shouldn't wash/tone your face more than once a day, it can be really harsh on your skin and have the opposite affect. |

back to tips.... a really cool trick I learned was taking little bits of eyeshadow and mixing it with vaseline to create a lip colour.. I surprisingly found a really nice shade! |

I'm going to have to disagree with the guys getting their eyebrows done, I guess it's not bad if they're 'clean' but if they actually get the full on shape to them I get jealous.
One of my ex's used to go tanning and got his eyebrows done, it became a battle of who took longer to get ready. Dark eyeliner on your lower lid will make your eyes look closer together IF you already have deep set eyes. However, if you do the cream eyeshadow on the inner corner of your lids it'll balance out. |

well on a lighter note, past the whole guys getting their eyebrows done...heres an eye makeup tip: For those with dark circle that u cant get rid of, try using a pink tint concealer under your eyes to counter act against the blue-ish hue. When applying the concealer gently tap around the dark area instead of rubbing it in, you get a better result.

here are a couple of my favorite products:
if you don't like wearing foundation but but want some minimal coverage I highly suggest you buying a tinted moisturizer. i've been using Clinique's Almost Makeup with spf 15 for 2 years and i'll never stop. Best product ever, and it keeps you fresh looking and gives you some redness coverage as well without feeling too heavy best mascara: clinique's long and feathery DO NOT go with any MAC mascara. it's clumpy and gross! best bronzer: MAC bronzer is the best! thats all for now! |
