I used to be a big Bad Gal fan, but now not so much. I found it really clumpy, and I also prefer waterproof. I swear by my $3.99 on sale Maybeline great lash waterproof. However, with my new job I might wanna get more glammed up (I'm usually pretty casual) and I may become a Bad Gal girl again.

soooooooooooooooo girl at work got some lashes done... they stay on for like 2 weeks. totally not me, but it made her look like she had eyeliner on without putting them on... im curious, might give it a try. nothing too long and crazy, something natural but a bit longer. :S |

(I love Benefit's Realness of Concealness, particularly since I can just throw it in my purse and have a lil makeup stash on the go! Dr. Feelgood is a decent primer, I think I would appreciate it more if I had oilier skin though.)
My makeup routine/must haves: Cetaphil cleanser (mutli purpose, and perfect if you have very sensitive skin) Lancome spf 30 moisturizer (best wrinkle prevention is a daily spf, and this is the highest one I've found available that doesn't clog pores or feel greasy) Laura Geller spackle primer - this primer gives skin a hint of glow rather than a matte finish (if I worked a day job I would probably prefer the matte look though) Bare Minerals spf 15 foundation (from Bare Escentuals)- goes on flawlessly and makes skin look AMAZING! My sister just got it, and she too is in love with it. If there is only one product that I could recommend, this is it. either The Balm's Hot Mama (for day) or Bare Mineral's all over face colour in Pure Radiance (for night) as blush eyeshadows - my absolute faves are MAC, but I also use a few shades from a Pupa heart shaped compact eyeliner - instead of actual eye liner, I line my eyes with MAC eyeshadow in Carbon using a very small angled brush for a slightly softer effect mascara - Bare Escentuals' Big Tease (no clumps thanks to the special brush that has one side longer than the others) lipgloss - Bare Escentuals' Buxom Lips in Dolly (plumping, shiny, subtle hint of plum colour and they leave your lips feeling tingly!) Kind of all over the map yes, but a lot of my picks are from trial and error (and a sister who used to have makeup case more like a toy box). And I'm also currently cut off from Sephora. ...Oh and can anyone recommend a good lip stain that isn't in liquid form? I was going to pick up the Benetint pocket pal until I managed to get it all over my hands by just opening the tester, so instead I got the gloss but it isn't an intense enough colour. Any suggestions of a happy medium? |

I have really dry skin so I appreciate that it's light, compared to some primers I've used before. I think is meant for people with oilier skin (to help make matte) but I like it and how it works with my dry skin too (not heavy).

I was think that this thread needs a revival. I think it was going in a good direction, though. We should post pictures of the looks and products (and links!) we are talking about. I'll start.
Depending on complexion and hair colour, many times I have not been able to wear my gray shades on my eyes without looking washed out. But I tried them last night, and who knew?! They actually look pretty good. It's hard to see the blending in this pic, but you can see overall effect. I tried taking closer shots of the lid, but there was too much light. (Pls don't mind my fake smile. Look at the EYES!) For those curious, I used (all MAC): Brule - Lid to brow Crystal - Lid Greystone (Ltd/discont'd?) - Outter corners/crease Idol Eyes - Inner corner/lid Anti-establishment (Ltd) - Lash line (top/bottom) Sensibility (Ltd) - Highlight (brow) |

I've been wearing fake eyelashes out lately and they look pretty awesome but I'm considering getting eyelash extensions now from Wink.
I'll post pictures when I get them done, a bunch of my coworkers had them done last year and they said they looked amazing. I think the process costs roughly $75 and then you can get fills every 2-3 weeks for $20 |
