He also produces his own tracks which are spun by other world renowned DJ's. Also notable are Tyler Stadius, Dave Armstrong, Kevin Shiu and Czech. |

^ don't forget jay tripwire or psidream! two examples of artists who gave gained a ton of recognition OUTSIDE of Vancouver. Both of which have several releases on major record labels and have toured internationally.
Tayphoon, who exactly do you manage? |

Nicky Delgado has also had some of his tracks played and listed on Hernan's favorites.
When in Miami Christan Alverez was very well known and a favorite of Promoter I met from Washington DC. They were star struck when I told them I knew Christan Ive also heard that Illisha is apparently HUGE back east. We have ALOT of talented DJ's... I wonder if are lacking scene here in Vancouver strives DJ's to work harder then others from around the world? Last edited by Ree Fresh; Apr 27, 06 at 05:03 PM. |

Kevin Shiu is only big locally
Stadius has some tracks out, nothing big Tripwire is the closest thing to a big DJ in Van Dave Armstrong gets 0 gigs Delgado is only big locally Do you people understand what makes you a proffesional DJ ?? It means that you do it for a living, IE: getting gigs over seas, getting your tracks on ESTABLISHED labels, and Paying taxes for it. What I dont like is how people here call DJ's talented because they are friends or know them Get real people |

psidream (1/2 of influenza) has just completed his 2nd USA tour in a year and he is soon touring europe. Again, who do you manage? Again, many people have provided a list of artists who are MAKING MONEY OFF OF THEIR MUSIC who have TRACKS RELEASED ON MAJOR RECORD LABELS. Yes, a lot of them are not REGULARLY BOOKED TO PLAY IN VANCOUVER, but it does provide what I feel are perfect examples of people in Vancouver who have 'made it'. |

two parties arent going to agree on soemthing unless they both feel they have something to gain from it, so why are you playing if you feel you're getting shafted, you dont have too, it isnt your job. no the reality is djs who want to get paid but end up getting 'shafted' wouldnt play out if money was their only consideration. If its money you truly care about then let the kiddies play for free. |
